embarrassingly late, but here I am!  I'm on the advisory board of LiveJournal...  Obviously, I wasn' invited because I'm an active member, but because I'm an outsider who might provide some interesting ideas and outside perspective. 

But I do need to listen, which is what I intend to do over the next few weeks and months.
